Having spent most of our lives in and around the Delta, we bring years of experience, deep local knowledge, and genuine passion for Botswana’s wilderness.

Jonathan, Founder
Jonathan is driven by an unwavering passion for the African bush.
Having spent most of his life in Botswana, Jonathan grew up tracking, exploring, and uncovering the hidden stories written into every footprint, broken twig, and shifting landscape. This lifelong curiosity and deep connection to the wilderness coined the name Uncovering Wild.
A Safari Guide and Guide Trainer, Jonathan has dedicated his career to guiding guests through Botswana's wilderness, delivering unforgettable safari experiences while training and mentoring safari guides within the industry. Today he spends most of his time guiding guests, and awaiting to pick the next leopard trail to follow.

Witness, Co- Founder
Born and raised in Gunotsoga in the heart of Botswana’s Okavango Delta, Witness grew up surrounded by the rhythms of the bush from an early age. The Delta is not just where he works , it’s home.
With more than 20 years of guiding experience, he has spent his life exploring and understanding these wild landscapes, leading guests through the bush on foot and by vehicle with a calm, deeply knowledgeable approach.
He is passionate about conservation and sharing the beauty of Botswana with others, Witness has a natural way of making people feel connected to the wilderness around them. Whether tracking animals on a walking safari, reading signs in the sand, or sharing stories around the fire, his love for the bush is felt in every part of the experience.
